Pedal Extreme Support
We’re sorry you are having issues with our site, but the most common problems can be addressed right here without the need to contact us. We’ve taken great care in the construction of our website to provide ease of access and use throughout and shown below are the most common issues that our members encounter.
How do I Login? : If you paid for a subscription and it is active but cannot find the members area, look at the upper right of your screen and you’ll see two buttons as shown below :
Members Login Button
Members Logout Button
Once successfully logged into our site, simply navigate to Updates or Classics Archives to download content. Use the Logout Button if you want to ensure your privacy.
General Password Information : Always protect your password and never share it with leeches! Sharing your password with non subscribers is monitored and can lead to your account being shut down without refund. We track your login information throughout the use of our site. Once you log in, your password is stored for 7 days, after that time you will need to log in again if you are a monthly subscriber.
Password Recovery : Most common password issues are pretty simple to resolve. If you have an ACTIVE subscription with us, then you can use the login/password recovery option link shown below. Please make sure our email does not hit your spam box. All emails for this site are from pedalextreme@gmail.com.
Changing your Password or Updating E-mail Address : It’s always good practice to update or change your password at least once a week to keep your account with us secure and to avoid interruption in your service. Other site owners like to troll your account and test your password at this site, some are even so brazen as to log into your e-mail account if you use the same password for multiple reasons. Always keep your password to this site different from your e-mail address and other website’s you visit. You can update your password or e-mail address below.
Video Playback Issues : Through the years, Pedal Extreme has used several codecs and video formats to bring content to you and while we strive to make sure those videos are compatible with your systems, sometimes a little extra help is needed. Shown below are the suggested video players and codec packages for Windows users. Unfortunately we do not offer playback support for Mac users, go buy a PC, it’s cheaper and uses the same hardware as a Mac.
Video Players for Windows Users : We do not recommend to our users, the use of the standard Windows Media Player included with most Windows installations. It is slow and outdated by todays standards! Instead we recommend Media Player Classic – Home Cinema which provides he most robust suite of commonly used codecs by video editors, plus it’s updated to keep up with new codec releases and advancements in video editing technologies.
Media Player Classic – Home Cinema ( our TOP recommendation! )
Our second recomendation for Windows users is VLC media player, while not as robust as our previous entry, it is a popular runner up.
VLC media player ( our SECOND choice! )
Additional Video Codec Support : If you still have issues with video playback of our downloads or you are more comfortable with the standard Windows Media Player, then we suggest Shark007′s FREE Codec solutions that feature additional video codecs for playback on Windows machines that feature the standard Windows Media Player. Codec packs are available for Windows Xp, Vista and Windows 7 installations, It’s free and easy to install.

Other Issues : Remember that we encode our videos in High Definition, if you have an older machine, you might not be able to play our files from your desktop, try the mobile download instead. If you are still having problems with playback or passwords, please use the Contact Us link at the top of this page as we’ll get back to you within a couple of hours!
